I couldn't wait to get started on my Ruby Slippers.
I used nail glue to stick the jewels onto the shoes and it took a little practice and a lot of time and a whole heap of patience before I found my rhythm.
Here's the story so far...
Welcome to the world of Wacky Wendy Woo... That's me! I live in Gloucester, uk. I'm a singing, knitting, crocheting, baking, reading girl who loves travel, a good walk with her man and dog and a nice hot mug of coffee!

Ruby Slippers - Part 1
There's no place like home...
There's no place like home...
There's no place like home...
I'm like a magpie... I love sparkly things. I also love The Wizard of Oz so I got myself on Ebay and got a new pair of red leather shoes for a crazy bargain price and some lovely pretty red gems and I'm ready to trot along the Yellow Brick Road to meet the Wizard!

Rediscovering pen and paper
Around the age of 8 I was very much into drawing, especially creating my own cartoon characters, mainly inspired by my HUGE Beano comic collection. I even wrote to Jimmy Saville's 'Jim'll Fix It' because I wanted to draw cartoons with Rolf Harris although I never made it on the show!
With this in mind, yesterday I put pen to paper to see if I could still draw... and I must try and find some old cartoons. I wonder what Rolf would think!?
