Biscuits baked to distract

In an attempt to distract myself from housework yesterday, I convinced myself that I needed to make biscuits!

Who doesn't need biscuits huh?

So I set to and baked some lovely little vanilla biscuits and decorated them with piped royal icing.

These ought to keep the fellas at work happy :)

I have friends coming to visit this weekend so thought I would make them some special biscuit cupcakes, because who doesn't like cake and biscuits? That means that when you combine the 2, surely you have a recipie of perfection!

Biscuits

One of my favourite treats is a cup of milky coffee with some (or a lot) of Fox's Golden crunch Creams.
If anyone knows how to make biscuits, it's Fox's!

Now, I should be learning my lines for the Gloucester Operatic Dramatic Society's next production 'Steel Magnolias', in which I play Truvy Jones, the owner of the local Beauty Parlor where the whole play is set.

Instead of line learning, I decided to become Mrs Fox's and make my own Shortbread Cream Biscuits!

 Not as good as the real deal, but still yummy!
